It's here! Our revised and expanded Early American History Through Literature for grades 4-6!! We're very excited about the changes. Josh Berg and Rea worked together to make this guide more user-friendly and enjoyable! Several books were eliminated, lessons were expanded, links to interactive websites were added and much more! The most significant change is the addition of A Child's First Book of American History by Earl Schenck Miers.

Now an integral part of our revised Early American Study Guide!
This teacher's guide provides daily instruction in reading, notebooking, map-making, biblical principles, character studies, government, writing exercises and use of our Early American Time Line. Authors include such fine writers as Esther Forbes, Elizabeth Yates, James Daugherty, Jeri Ferris, Carl Sandburg, among others. Contains 101 lessons and it is suggested that 3 lessons be completed each week. See list below for new features! 2. Are you revising the Early American primary? We are using it, and miss the websites and detail that are in some of the newer guides.

    1. Hi Celia, We did update the Early American Primary guide about 18 months ago. We added several titles, removed others, expanded the study notes. To read more, here's the blog entry on it: http://bfbooksblog.blogspot.com/2012/03/product-feature-revised-and-expanded_21.html. If you have the full-color version, you have the most up-to-date version. If yours is black and white, then it's an older edition. Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
